SottoScribe processes everything locally using AI models that run on your machine. We don't have servers that receive your audio. We don't store your transcriptions. We couldn't access your voice data even if we wanted to — it simply never leaves your device.
The application runs entirely offline. Nothing is sent to the cloud, no usage tracking, no analytics.
When you purchase SottoScribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects the information needed to process your payment:
That's it. We keep your email so we can send you download links if you need them again, and to notify you of major updates. We don't sell or share this information with anyone.
This website doesn't use cookies for tracking. We don't run Google Analytics or similar services. If we add analytics in the future, it will be privacy-respecting and clearly disclosed.
If you contact us through the website, we'll receive your message and any information you choose to include. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and delete it afterwards.
You can request deletion of any personal data we hold (your email address from purchase records) at any time. Just get in touch via the contact page.
If we change this privacy policy, we'll update this page. Given our commitment to local-only processing, we don't anticipate significant changes.
